I apologize for taking so long to write this letter to you. Almost a year ago, you asked if I would provide you with a statement to be used on your Internet site. I said yes but am just now getting around to providing you with the requested information. Please feel to use the information in this letter as needed.

I think that God directed me to you. A chance meeting in a bible study, a decision by me to share my infertility struggle with the group led to our having a professional and personal relationship with one another. God is good!

I must admit that I initially had doubts about whether acupuncture would really work. After all, I had already seen medical doctors regarding infertility and had been through approximately two years of infertility treatments including in vitro fertilization. Medical treatments had proven unsuccessful so why then would acupuncture work? The fact that you are an RN helped me make my decision to give you and acupuncture a try.

My initial visit lessened my doubts. By your checking my pulse, you were able to provide/confirm my medical history and diagnose me with a blood deficiency problem. Needless to say, I was impressed. At that first visit, I was already two weeks into my then current menstrual cycle. The next cycle proved to be a success. I was able to conceive thanks to the grace of God and your allowing Him to use you as an instrument to treat me through acupuncture. The pregnancy went well and I delivered a healthy baby boy.

When my son was almost one, I again came to you to start preparing my body for conception one last time. From May to the beginning of July you treated me but I did not conceive. However, the next month I did conceive and am now awaiting the birth of another baby boy. Whether it was the lasting affects of acupuncture or purely God at work is unknown but I do know that I am now a firm believer in acupuncture. It works!

I have been your patient for over a year-and-a-half. I came to you with high blood pressure, severe headaches, sleeping problems, breathing and weight problems. You were able to get my blood pressure back to normal without the use of pills. I was ever so pleased about that.  I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2001. I was inundated with information about my treatment options and I found that the diagnosis filled me with such panic that it was hard to proceed with the decision making process. During this devastating period Suki began to treat me with acupuncture for the anxiety I was feeling, and I found that I was able to get my emotions under control so that I could make an informed decision about treatment.

My treatment involved surgery and chemotherapy and Suki provided support during this whole period. Surgery and chemotherapy are unpleasant, but with acupuncture Suki was able to help me deal with some of the side effects and I was able to complete my treatment with no major problems and in good spirits. She was also able to prescribe an herbal formula that could support my fragile immune system.
